I
saw “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel” on PPS last week. First, I accidentally saw
this movie’s recommendation on a blog; Then I found it in the PPS.
Surprisingly, I knew two actors in this movie, one acted professor Minerva
McGonagal in Harry Potter, the other one acted the leading role in Slumdog
Millionaire. This movie is about seven retired elders went to India traveling
in order to add something different to their life. They were all attracted by
the appealing advertisement, but they didn’t know how poor it was until they
arrived. Although the equipments in hotel were ridiculous and their occupations
before retirement were totally different, they solved problems together and
found new point of view toward life.

回覆刪除Although I am a movie-goer, I've never had a chance to watch this one. From your introduction, I think it seems like telling a story about people working together and they learned a lot during the process.
If you try to express how you feel after seeing it and describe some impressive or interesting snatches, I can understand the meaning lying behind the movie much better.:)

回覆刪除Although I have not seen "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel", but I see a powerful cast of this movie, I think this is a movie that I can not miss. Judi Dench is a superb actress acting, every time I see her works are very stunning admire her more. Maggie Smith is also one of my very favorite actress, the first time I saw he was not in the Harry Potter films, but in the BBC production of the album David Copperfield. Her special style of performance is often very impressive. I thank you for sharing, I will have time to watch the movie.
